What was Cooper watching on television that suddenly made him remember? I understand it might have been the electricity from the television and not the actual content of the program, but I still feel what it was may have had significance in some way.

A movie called Sunset Boulevard. He heard someone refer to a minor character named Gordon Cole, which finally started to wake him up.
