I think I need to go there someday.

Don't go near any old convenience stores.

Come on over Buttercup. The forest is lively, the locals are friendly, and the owl are not what they seem.

Detective Sam, how did you make out it said Snoqualmie?!

I still hold to we are perceiving things from the "other side" in frameworks that suit how we can digest the reality.

We viewing now see it as a convenience store so the sign says convenience store. I say it like it is like it sounds. But what does that perception mean.....if anything.

Yes !

It's very strange, when we watch this 10-15 seconds night driving sequence, eyes are only seeing this bright sign.

And in fact, it's not a prop sign but a real one, so the fiction is connected to reality.

On purpose ?

does it hints about that theory regarding "our real world" being their alternate world?

Because that's what it says. Easy.

It helps having a yrev very good monitor and a keen eye for detail.  Both kinda useful for an artist.  And, I might add, for a detective, too.

Snoqualmie is in Washington State, outside of Seattle.  There is a beautiful waterfall there.

I think everyone here may already know that.  It's the one used in the opening credits.

Brandy,  I would love to take a little trip there after this season.  I've never been to the Northwest.  I'll need to practice removing my face if I decide to go out for a drink.

Buttercup - it is a really beautiful place!  I went to visit a couple of years after the original series & wandered around & watched some orcas & people throwing fish at each other & had cherry pie & coffee at the RR & found this strange island full of Scandinavian flags & people (seriously, it was batshit crazy!)
I also found a great bar in Seatle - the barman asked if I wanted a Margarita & I said yes, but I was really thirsty.  That was my first ever pint of Margarita!!  🙂

Don't know the island.  Where it/was it?

No idea!  We'd been up to Port Townsend & were taking the scenic route...  I've no idea if it was some special Nordic shindig, but it really was like something straight out of the Great Northern...
I was also impressed with all the shots of the waterfall at the G N carefully cutting out the electrical sub-station, or whatever it was!

Well I didn't know it. Thank you Megan. And Sam can't you let people share things without making sure they know you already know everything?

Sheeezzz.
