"The Log Lady's dead?" ?
Really tough scene to watch.
Can you imagine filming that, knowing how little time you have left?
It was veautiful, and gutting.
I really can't believe the gift that she gave to us fans. Can't imagine David had dry eyes while filming or editing that scene either.
My friend (new Peaks fan) and I agree she probably wasn't acting. It looked much more like a confession of true feelings on the precipice of life.
I was in tears. Rest in Peace Catherine Coulson.

As was I.
What an amazing tribute to a friend. Well done all.
"Emotional Rollercoaster." I've casually used that expression before in terms of reacting to a story, but this evening I realize I had only abused the term.
A beautiful and humbling scene. What a lovely phrase "it's not the end it's just a change". Balled like a baby ?
That was... I don't actually know the word for it. Imagine the effect it will have on the cast - I wonder if they knew anything about Margaret's filmed part when they did their scenes?
Michael Horse has nerves of steel. Amazing scene in every way.
Note the "in memory of" in the end credits was Margaret Lanterman!
Not Catherine Coulson....who was already memorialized....but the character!

Great catch. Y'all are gonna make me cry again without even rewatching the scene.
I remember giving a book report on "Where the Red Fern Grows" in fourth grade and my teacher had to leave the classroom because she was crying (as was I while giving the book report). These scenes w/Catherine were 10x that.?
Ain't got much to add except, whatever respect I had for Ms Coulson, working through her illness, just got magnified beyond all measure.
Her final scene was a testament to her commitment, both to the character and the entire show.
Rest in peace, you earned it.
