Public discourse about mandela effect is generally pretty craycray conspiracy theory. The very thing that Jacoby's show is a parody of. Here's an example.

Will it ward off the zombie public who have been brainwashed into thinking the earth is a sphere?

And will it ward off aliens? I'm fed up of pointing my bare arse into the air all night long (aliens are scared of bumholes).

Hmm, someone told me you did that because you liked aliens.  They are noted for their probing activities, after all.

Anyhow, no they won't ward off aliens.  They are good at keeping elephants away, though.  Absolutely no elephants round here, that's for sure.

I think I might look quite good in a tinfoil hat.

Ahhh, takes me back to teaching 1st year science (12/13 year olds) For some reason the boys always clutched the polythene/ acetate rods in their laps & rubbed away earnestly.  Which was ok till one of the girls would notice & catch my eye & start to laugh.  It all went downhill from there...

Hi Lynn,

The obvious question is:

Why didn't the girls try to clutch the rods in their laps?  😉

I think they were too busy laughing at the boys!  🙂

Years ago, I was spending a lot of time with a witch.  A genuine one, not one of your fairground/popular press types.  She told me of a friend, also a witch, who was studying Physics at Manchester, and at the same time, attempting to match strict scientific principles to his understanding of magic.

Hi Sam,

If you are still in touch with this witch, or especially her friend, ask her if she has ever heard of John Whiteside Parsons:

It sounds like she was after precisely the same things Parsons was (before he blew himself up).  =:-O

😉

there are infinte dimensions.

black holes are portals.

i know this sounds wack, but it`s the truth...

you are slowly being accustomed to the truth.

Using DL's works is hardly a platform to get massive numbers of people "used" to anything

I could get in touch with her but I have no inclination to do so.  We were very much romantically involved.  Too many memories, old feelings and all that.  It's a road I wouldn't like to travel.

She may well have heard of Parsons; I wouldn't doubt it, in fact.

Pardon my continuation on paradoxes, but existing in one means life is also absurd. (That does not mean that life isn't often wonderful.)

So absurdity is the natural state of things.

This is why Twin Peaks is so resonant and fascinating to many of us here. Unlike 'normal' TV shows which actually depict life mostly as it is NOT, Twin Peaks taps into the absurdity which is the truth of existence in this reality. In its circular, ambiguous, mysterious, roundabout way.

LOL!

I thought Sam asked for warnings in your posts moving forward (luckily it was only water that I spit out and flew well beyond my iPad).
