( dying scene ) she said "My log has turned to gold." I suspect she went on to the White Lodge.

Not sure what else it might have meant.

God, that scene and the following choked me up.

I had been wondering what kind of send off she'd end up getting.

I wonder if it was by her request that the episode be dedicated to her character rather than herself.

This is probably a very tin foil hat'ish remark but:

The wooden shovels were painted gold by Dr. Amp. I wonder where Nadine was headed after her break-up with Big Ed? To the woods? Does she become the new log lady who has obscure messages for townsfolk of Twin Peaks from her shovel?

Maybe to wherever everybody's going to meet up for the assumed showdown with Bad Coop.

Maybe she'll knock his head off with her shovel.

Stupid theory of the day: the log has always been gold; she just had some fear in letting go of the illusion. The log is a golden ball sent by her husband, the Fireman, to communicate with her.

Don't worry, I know my way out!
