i m a bit lost. r u still talking about the thread's topic? is Linda working for Expedia?
I think people moved on once I solved the question.

Yup
The actor who was just arrested for beating his girlfriend ("Mickey"), the one who talks to Carl en route to town (in the back of Carl's "limo") mentions Linda as his wife, needing a wheelchair. They go to town to get Mickey's mail (from Fat Trout). Part 6, I think.
Has anyone suggested yet that Linda might be the frog-moth girl?

At this point, I think every possibility has been mentioned.

the thread says "strictly limited to the conversation of ep15". I get an alert that there is activity on the topic i m interested in only to find out that u guys are having a private out of topic conversation. isn't this disrespectful to other users?
I consider each post inspired by a new Twin Peaks to be a gift. Perhaps a metaphysical or comical gift, but a gift no less. Those who drift from an original topic but keep the conversation alive are ok in my book.

Apologies if we strayed a bit off topic, or, it might be better to say, got a bit chatty. I could see how getting alerts for some of those short posts that weren't on topic could have been annoying. At the same time, I think it was basically just a matter of people being friendly. But, sorry.
I was, of course, joking about having solved it. I do think, as someone said above, that the possibilities have basically all been covered at this point. I also tend to think the answer is going to be something none of us can predict, which is part of why I love this show. It strikes me as really odd that the only person in the Twin Peaks universe named Linda seems to be the one Mickey mentioned. It is not an uncommon name.

hey dude, no need to apologize about anything.
i also have the feeling that answers will be unexptected.

sorry if I sounded uptight. im just very very interested and puzzled about the identity of linda. and curious about what everyone thinks.
A much earlier theory after EP8 was that the frogmoth girl was Linda because she had odd markings on her knees. As in, the markings on her knees were a precursor to her disability and needing a wheelchair.
That said, she's a veteran so it seems to me like the horrors of war are the more likely reason for her disability.

they never use the word "veteran" on the scene. They are referring to "war". Could be a victim of war (even an old war), not someone who actually fought on the war. Doubt it but just saying.
