You're all wrong. Richard and Linda were characters on Invitation to Love that we never saw, and the Fireman is reminding Cooper of that scene in the show. It happened halfway through the hour, at 4:30pm. Two birds with one stone refers to Emerald and Jade. Chet had trouble telling Jade and Emerald apart, but was seduced/tricked by the evil Emerald to change a will. This stands for how Chet Desmond was seduced by the evil side of the jade/emerald ring, which altered Cooper's will (because Chet was connected to Cooper through his dream) thus that he faced the lodge with imperfect courage, allowing for the creation of and escape of his doppleganger.
Chet and Jared kill Montana. Richard and Linda show up in unseen footage to investigate. This parallels the FBI coming to investigate a murder in Montana (at the Farm), where they get video evidence that Cooper has committed murder. Of course it wasn't Cooper, but Mr. C. So, basically the Fireman is warning Cooper that he will be a wanted man by reminding him of this TV show everyone likes, and "two birds with one stone" is a bit of guidance indicating that the ring also has a good aspect. Cooper needs to get the ring and utilize that positive aspect in order to dispel Mr. C and convince the authorities of his innocence, just as Chet needed the good Jade on his side to deal with Agents Richard and Linda, and overcome the dark side of himself that led him to shoot Montana.
Solved it.
Lol, very nice. I was hoping that would get solved.
Nice work!
If you're right, I owe you a pint.

A lot of pint talk in this forum. It's going to happen someday. I'll get a group of us to the UK and we'll head out in different directions yelling "Detective Sam" at the top of our lungs and eventually you will hear one of us and respond. Then we will reconvene for whatever you say a pint is, and maybe a few extra. 😀
I think there is zero chance any of that is right, but I love that this show allows one to do stuff like that.
Nice work!

It's a small place, the UK but it's not that small. You wouldn't want to have to paint it.
But yes, I think I could stand the sight of you lot for a bit.

We'll start at the airport and fan out from there. Can't be too hard, right? 😉
"The" airport? You do know the UK is one of the most urbanized nations in the world, right?
I can think of 10. Manchester would be the nearest major airport to here, and then you'd have a few hours travel time. East Midlands is probably nearer geographically but it's doubtful you'd get a flight from your end of town, or if you could get one, it would cost a hell of a lot more.
When I had a gf in OKC, it was double the cost to fly direct, than the fare to Dallas. So, I flew to Dallas, stayed overnight in a motel, then we drove up to OKC. Even paying for the motel and fuel saved me quite a bit.

Perfect! Manchester it is.
Lol - we have an 'international' airport in Dundee. They desperately keep 1 route to another country going. - though at the moment you only seem to be able to go to Stanstead or 'Discover Jersey in 2016' which is quite clever, really!

New Jersey? Gross.

Old Jersey - well, even older Jersey as it's last year...
i m a bit lost. r u still talking about the thread's topic? is Linda working for Expedia?
It's entirely possible. We know so little about her, what's to say she isn't working for another Washington based company.
Prediction:
The plot-lines fizzle out without much resolution. Janey-E and Diane reconcile and head out to Twin Peaks to form a women’s community. The Candie trio join in using golden shovels to till the land, grow organic ingredients (turnips included) and become self sufficient. The women of Twin Peaks – fed up with their abusive menfolk – join the community. Tracey joins them too (inconsistency in the timeline?) Linda helps to build a large barn made out of the wood Audrey is trapped in. The End.
