Some are positing that the "motel room" where Mr. C. meets who we presume to be "Jeffries"-morphed-into-a-familiar-bell-shaped-object is the same motel where Laura/Ronette/Teresa are due to meet Leland for threesome in FWWM. Any validity to this?
Looks legit.
Looks legit.
Nice catch
People on reddit/FB caught it before I did. I just had to research to validate. Lynch is one in a million.

Btw who is this lady. She was terrifying.
A++ horror lighting to make a shuffling old bathrobe lady something out of a nightmare. Loved it.
Judy
Then I think the new plan is no one should want to find Judy. I can see why Phillip wasn't going to talk about her.
Judy is keeping Jeffries locked up (she has the key). If this is Teresa's motel the Black Lodge crew has trapped him here back in 1988 when FBI investigated Teresa (or was he in Buenos Aires at that time?)
The woman reminds me a lot of Ronette...
She looks like Alice Cooper.

She has the key to the room-- but the bell/stupa fades away from it after the phone starts ringing, so he's clearly not imprisoned in THAT room, I mean at least physically.

That's who we thought it was at first. But I guess it's not, at least according to the credits and general consensus.
Possibly been mentioned before but has anyone else noticed the motel door numerals - and the one Mr C stayed at with Darya - have the same typeface as the telegraph poles? ISTR other places of interest having them, too.
As an aside, I noticed my clothesline reel makes the same noise as the one used for the electricity sound in the show.
