I'm trying to make sense of the Doppleganger's relationship with the other lodge related things we saw in this episode.  Back when he was shot the woodsmen came out to do something with Bob and apparently heal him.  When he visited the room above the convenience store he had to ask for their help in escorting him to Jeffries.  The scary bathrobe woman had to unlock the door to Jeffries room for him.  It seemed like he got kicked out when he answered the phone. 

I guess I assumed he and the woodsmen were at least working together, if not for him.  This episode seems like he might be a little lower on the totem pole than I thought.  And of course Jeffries seems like he's been on the inside for too long...
