Yes! Last week apparently Billy came out of his house & saw Chuck driving off with his truck. Billy called the sheriff & the truck was found that same afternoon. Billy did not press charges. Also, Audrey thinks Chuck is certifiable.
It may be 2 different situations. Richard killed that boy with a flatbed style pickup. When he drove it to a field to clean it up, there was another pickup truck in that field. I wondered about it at the time. Richard apparently returned the flatbed to the owner. When Andy showed up, I didn't get the idea that he was responding to a missing truck report call. That flatbed had been identified as the one used in the hit and run and was easy to locate.
Why the farmer was so freaked remains a mystery. The stolen truck story involving Chuck and Billy sounds like a more tame affair. No charges were pressed so maybe Chuck just borrowed it. But it becomes issue for all those people because Billy disappears.
But why did he steal Billy's truck? Other than being an asshole?
Richard to Chuck:
"Get me a truck, I need to go meet with the guy"
Chuck to Richard:
"OK boss, I'll steal Billy's".
