Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I always assumed the Black Lodge got it's name because it was evil but I think it is because it has been burnt by fire.
Oh, I think it is evil.
Oh, I think it is evil.
I also believe it is evil. However I never made the link to the burnt black interior until today's episode.
My thought has always been that the Black Lodge is the shadow self of the White Lodge.
It was not only burnt black, but it was very dark and shadowy. All of these point to evil.

That's because that's exactly what Hawk said it is 🙂

Nice. I had forgotten. Rewatched that scene. Tapadh leat!
It probably also smells of burnt engine oil, as do the Woodsmen.
I can't see the Black Lodge style catching on at Ikea though. 😉
So are we agreed that:
- the place where the Fireman and Senorita Dido are is the White Lodge
- the red curtained place is the "waiting room"
- the "above the convenience store" place(s) we saw this week are the Black Lodge
????????
I have the greatest sympathy with anyone who is completely confused by all this.
red curtains = black lodge.. waiting room is in Black lodge imo. sarahs message at rr in s2 .. I'm in the black lodge with..
