Maybe the reason we haven't seen Linda is because she is in a wheelchair which she just got, and she hasn't been outside for a long time. I still think the Giant/Fireman words counted for something at the beginning of the season, and Linda's role will suddenly become clear. Agent Cooper said "I understand" in response to the "2 birds with one stone" line, so it meant something to him.

It's possible that Linda is actually Diane's child with Mr. C ... it would make sense with what we've seen with the messages...Linda being the one communicating with "dad" and passing it along to "mom". As a Vet she may even have had contact with Briggs...

My idea that Richard and Linda would be twins comes from the "two birds with one stone" quote: The Experiment was spitting out stone-looking eggs in Ep. 8. Identical twins come from thecsame egg.
I don't think genetic allusions have been on Frost/Lynch's mind in the past though; it's just me reading into it. It does seem like Mr. C woulda impregnated both Audrey and Diane.
I know this is a wild guess, but here it is:
Could Linda is in fact Audrey's new name? She did recover from the bank explosion and gave birth to Richard (which was presumably a very traumatic experience for her).
Sometime afterwards she ran away from her family, changed her name to Linda, and joined the Army during the late 1990s/2000s. Presumably she was in Iraq and she suffered from another explosion over there. She is now disabled and now lives in Fat Trout Trailer Park with serious mental/PTSD issues, hence her incoherent rants and rambings seen in her conversations with Charlie during the past few episodes.
Interesting possibility or is just too far fetched, as there's only four episodes left and even if it's true, there's barely any time to explain everything that has happened to Audrey in the past 25 years in just four episodes 🙁 🙁

It's certainly quite likely the more I reflected on what The Giant/Fireman said. And as someone pointed out, Linda might be the one sending the mysterious texts to her mom Diane.
Still puzzling though why so far there's no scene involving her, while we saw lots of scenes involving Richard. Yes, supposedly she's conveyed in a wheelchair somewhere in Carl Rodd's trailer park. Still why is she not been seen yet, given her supposedly important role? That's the mystery 🙁 🙁
I just looked at this still image again, and Audrey is not in a trailer. Doesn't explain much of anything else though.
This still image hasn't been shown yet but from what it looks like it seems a follow on from the first appearance of Audrey and Charlie where they have got their coats to go to the Roadhouse.
I have serious doubts we will see them leave that room. I don't think Audrey CAN leave that room.

Linda has not been revealed yet. "Linda & Richard, two birds with one stone" I suspect this comes into play in the final two parts.
As I've said before, I suspect the Giant giving Coop that info. is in the future of our world, as Coop responded: "I understand" which he can't do until he "wakes up."
