All joking apart, as a Brit, and having had to endure years of Stenders, which my first wife enjoyed, I can assure you there are some people around London who really do sound like that. Not only watching telly; I have spent some time in some of the less salubrious parts of London now and again.
Yes, it's at the extreme end and yes, the dialog is a bit off in places but it's not bad at all.
There are a lot of very strong and very different accents in the UK, some of them are incomprehensible to anyone from out of the area, including the rest of us Brits.
That putting her alone in a jail cell instead of taking her to a hospital makes clear sense to everyone is very strong evidence for the notion that this is all a dream.

It seems like dream-logic for it to make sense to all of these good men to take a traumatized naked woman with a jacked-up face that they found helpless in the middle of woods to lock her up alone in a jail cell surrounded by creeps to protect her. I think most people would probably opt for a hospital.
