Hang on a minute, how do you make the logical jump from the lyrics of a Beatles song being quoted in Twin Peaks and this being evidence that Paul McCartney is dead?

Oh, do we really need MORE evidence that Paul is dead?

I have annoyed on this topic elsewhere in the forum, in part 13...;-)

The Fireman series of albums by Macca are interesting in relation to Twin Peaks in that 2 of them are trance albums and the last one was called Electric Arguments.  So you have the connection with electricity, transcendental meditation and the Fireman between the albums and Twin Peaks.

The only ones who are safe are those who don't remember.

Ringo is ok because his memory is shot.

Look at what happened to Marc Bolan when he started hanging with Ringo, though.  Somebody knew he was getting close to the truth.

Lennon never really trusted Elton John, which is why he's still walking around; they never let him get close enough to find out the truth.

Lennon almost let the cat out of the bag when the stories started to go around that Paul visited him in New York.  That was just a step too far, and look what happened.

They tried to buy Bowie off with the offer of a Knighthood - twice - but he wasn't interested.  Someone came and told him to leave town if he knew what was good for him.  Lucky for Jonesy, he took the hint and upped sticks.  Never went back, just a quick visit once in a while.  Eventually, someone dropped a hint it would be best to stop touring if he wanted to stay topside of the flowers.

Don't even get me started on Elvis.  He was really keen to work with the Fab Four but, well, you know what happened.  Same with his attempt to reach out to Bowie; that one was considered too big of a security risk.

Ruthless people stop at nothing to cover their tracks.

B

I noticed it too. Also "The Fireman" being McCartney's alter ego...

Does the Fireman have an hourglass or a portrait of the Queen?

Suddenly quoting A Day in a Life?? A bar with "#9" in its name?

I have figured out the ultimate secret of Twin Peaks.

Paul is dead.

(-;

(see part 13 thread if you are confused. Not promising you will then be LESS confused...)

MJ--that's why Audrey uses Paul to scare Charlie (the only thing that seems to freak him out at all). In Charlie's world, Paul has always been dead! 🙂
