Did anyone notice that the hand inside Sarah's face had one finger longer and darker than the others?  It looks like the ring finger, aka, Cole's spiritual finger.

I noticed that!  That was my read too, that finger is going to represent a persons spiritual state and clearly the person to whom that hand belongs is not okay.

Did you also think that it was Laura's smile? Eeek!

He called it the spiritual mound.  Here is a thread about it.

I also wonder if it is somehow related with the owl cave ring and with the experiment (the way the trucker was attacked reminded me a little of Sam and Tracy)

Sarah had no blood on her at all, which I thought was quite strange.

She obviously has done this before. Which opens up larger questions.

I wonder if this possession (for lack of a better word) is kind of like Bob and Leland's where Leland didn't really know what was going on until Bob allowed him to. It seemed like Sarah was herself at first. She even thanked the bartender for her drink. The Truck You guy seemed to bring out the angry and violent side.

Sarah clearly knew though and had awareness of what was inside her judging by her conversation in the bar.  She was watching a fight on loop and watching lions fight. I agree that the bite she took reminded me of the glass box incident. Could Mother be now inside Sarah? Hence why Naido has been sent... or possibly Sarah has a doppelgänger staying with her.. which would account for the bottles clanking in the kitchen when Hawk visited. she said 'something' was in the kitchen. The upstairs fan was going showing that something otherworldly is happening. Who knows. Guess I will just wait for the rest of the story to unfold. I hope we get to spend one episode with a fully aware Agent Cooper though.... I've really missed old Coop this season.

I thought I saw a stinger in there and thought back to the frogmoth. If it was Sarah, is that working inside her now?

I thought it was more like MIKE. that she is attempting to satiate the thing's hunger but not let it loose

As stated above and elsewhere, the way the guy was killed totally looked to me like the way Sam, Tracy, and Hastings were killed. I mean, it happened in a split second and left similar wound. The way "Sarah" did it though resembled the way the big cats fed on their prey--eating the neck.

I don't know what was inside Sarah's head, except that it was black (and yeah, the long "spiritual mound" finger), and when Laura takes off her face, we see bright white.
