Hello
After Gordon's Cole telephone to Las Vegas FBI office an idea about what's probably going to happen came to my mind. As we know mr. C sent Hutch and Chantal to assasinate Dougie and Jane-E (my guess).  Gordon said they're going to be dangerous armed man and woman. I suppose (basing on previous coincidences) that FBI is going to save the day for Jones' family by protecting them from Hutches accidentally (Dougie's Lodge luck). What do You think?

Of course. No worries. Besides, Coop-in-Dougie can take care of himself (who remembers Ike the Spike the icepick man?) and so does Janey-E (remember how she confronted the loan sharks?)

My guess for the double-header: Coop-in-Dougie and Tony (because he messed up). Why would Mr. C want Janey-E dead?

And then there's Duncan Todd to consider, who also messed up for Mr. C. Big time...

Honestly I think a terrible tragedy will befall the Dougie/Janey-E/Sonny-Jim household.

My guess is that somehow Sonny Jim gets killed.  This guess is based on two foreshadowing events:

- The Warden's son watching him get gunned down by Hutch/Chantal

- That strange moment where Dougie looks at Sonny Jim in the car and starts to cry

I really hope I'm wrong, but the spotlight on him while playing in the backyard gym set seemed to be ominous.

I have a sneaking suspicion that at 2:53pm events will be set in motion to return Coop's shoes and FBI pin to him. Whether he stumbles into a vortex and back into the room with the Fireman or the Vegas FBI guys succumb to the powers of catatonic-Coop and somehow deliver the goods or something else, I don't know. But, by the end of part 15 Special Agent Dale Cooper will have returned (because symmetry: we've already witnessed what became of Naido at 2:53 on 10/1, now it's Coop's turn. Fully prepared and expect to be incorrect).

How will the Mitchum Bros/Candie and Co., Bushnell, Anthony, Janey-E, Sonny Jim, the Blue Rose Task Force (if they head that way)/Vegas FBI, Mr Todd and Hutch and Chantel fit into the above? Can't wait to find out!

An aside, hope that you're wrong too, Kdawg, but have a feeling that you're onto something.

Hi Kdawg,

"Seventh heaven"; hope you're wrong, too, but...

I really hope I'm wrong, but the spotlight on him while playing in the backyard gym set seemed to be ominous.

I think the double header in Vegas is intended to be Dougie Coop and Duncan Todd. Mr. C doesn't like to leave witnesses alive, not even those who successfully helped him (Jack comes to mind). Duncan Todd is a loose end.

I also worry about Janey E and Sonny Jim. I don't think they're targets but they could end up as collateral damage, which would be sad.

Maybe the Fusko brothers and/or the local FBI (doubt it) turn out to be helpful after all.

I think that Dougie will make a significant change in this episode & I think the idea of being re-united with his shes & tie pin.

Why?  Because it was in Episode 3 that Cooper went through the portal.  The portals were 3 and 15.  Yes, I know that this has no logical rationale, but I think it's been sitting in front of us for most of the season...

I think in reality Coop is Coop. He's just gonna wake up like the one arm man asked him to      "wake up, wake up! Dont die, Dont die!"

Remember that in season 1 most of all the Lodge characters were in Cooper's dreams. And he spent his time using his dreams as clues to solve the puzzle. One interesting note. It seems that, in the Black Lodge, Coop was stabbed and was bleeding about same area he was shot in the stomach at the end of season 1.

Also "Listen to the sound." I believe maybe this is a clue to where and when Coop is going to wake up. The same up close pan out shot of that old record player is very similar to the zoom out shot of the phone in Coops hotel room that was used at end of season 1 or beginning of season 2 or I forgot because I don't go back and study this shit.

"You are very far away." sounds like a very deep sleep to me. Maybe a coma.

Mr. David Lynch and Mark Frost have done a masterful job of taking people out of the show's reality and making them think the dream world is now what is real. I mean Sarah Palmer just pulled her FACE OFF!!  SHE PULLED HER FREAKIN FACE OFF!! And shot torpedoes out of  her head! And ripped that scumbag's throat out like a rabid pit bull!! Am I wrong?  Nobody is gonna call BS on that??  I will.  Absolutely masterful

There's always been an element of fantasy to this show but let's all admit that David Lynch is seeing how far he can take the audience out there before you realize that this just isn't Twin Peaks anymore. Maybe in the first season if cooper entered the Great Northern through a light socket and the bell hop brought his shoes up to his room for him, because shoes aren't allowed through electrical outlets(that would just be too unbelievable),  then this would all add up.

Unfortunately someone is always doomed in Twin Peaks and it's always a young pretty girl that has some emotional influence on the audience and there really are not too many candidates that fit this description except for one. Although not sure how Bob is connected to her life so maybe there's still hope.

However if it was going to be a real shocker of an ending

And you know it will be

Then you must be out of your mind

If you think Bob

will not kill again

Side note about 3 and 15 and Room 315: Why couldn't they have made it 314, more closely resembling the number pi. Lynch loves circular symbols (eastern religion stuff, donuts, pie), and pi sounds like pie.... Whenever Coop's door was open in the first seasons and we saw across the hall, I wished he was in Room 314. Oh well. If he comes back in Ep. 15, then woohoo!!!

then again, recall how frustrated we all were w Ep. 12. Lynch might be setting us up for purposeful disappointment again. He's absolutely mad!

As horrible as it is I think you're right that Sonny Jim is going to die to snap Cooper out of the haze

This is an interesting observation. Another irrational psuedo-clue may lie in part 14's ending musical performance. The stage lighting was yellow, the dominant tint of the Vegas scenes, and the lyrics were among the most upbeat of any of the performances so far, including the lines "all that you've lost you'll get back/all that you want you can have." Obviously the song wasn't written with Twin Peaks in mind, but in context it struck me as a reference to Cooper's identity and fan clamor for our Original Recipe Special Agent.

I would never dream of guessing what specifically will happen in any given episode, but my intuition tells me that part 15 will represent a momentary victory for hope and light.

I agree. Hid the clue in plain sight.
