I noticed he got mad all of a sudden ... pointing and banging the desk .... yelling
Yes but the motions where "static" is the only way I know how to describe them...
I watched that seem a good 6 or 7 times. He went "backwards." There was something like static (could have been a sucking in sound though) and then he went off with that backwards motion. It was extremely creepy and weird.

You're right Brandy, LOTS of weird editing in Twin Peaks this season. Changing door locks, everything happening in different sequences, time issues. So wonderful and strange!
Hopefully that guy at the desk will remember Gordon also said Janey, and do a search for Janey & Douglas Jones to make it easier.

That line made me laugh out loud. I thought he was missing a left arm for a moment, but it was there while he was pounding. I found the brief scene very humorous.
It was kind of the underling saying "Do a search for someone? Aww, man..."

Same, laughing to hard to notice anything weird. Perfect cutoff at the end too. It will be a treat to rewatch this episode!

But he didn't say Janey for some reason. He just said Mr and Mrs Douglas Jones. I guess he really is old school!
