Alot of scenes in twin peaks are often drawn out and lengthy to the point of awkwardness. Do you think some of these minor arcs we see are meant to kind of throw us off (i.e. Dr. Jacobees golden shovel, the focus of the RR, The Roadhouse, possibly even Audrey and whoever Tina is, Shelly and Bobbys daughter, the scene where the lady wouldnt stomp honking) all these storylines although close to the twin peaks viewers seem to be more of an homage rather than actual content. Besides Billy and a few roadhouse scenes it seems like thats all we are gunna get from those places, any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure that's just Lynchian. He completely fucks with you, even when he momentarily delivers the goods.
The sweeping scene in the road house, if you study it really well, there's a secret message that can be decoded from the pattern combined with the rhythm of the song. Or maybe I made it up.
Usually how i feel about everything ive seen this season, Lynch is the director equivelant of an internet s**tposter
