I'm trying to follow most of the conversations at AVClub, reddit and here, and it's just so hard. Especially since I really got into fandom only recently. Like, I didn't know /r/twinpeaks was a thing until 2 weeks ago. I must have missed so many interesting theories. Like, during episode 8, all I could see after seeing this gold ball was, "Isn't that the same as Dougie's in episode 3?! Do these balls represent an homunculus or a human soul?", but I never saw it mentioned anywhere. (Possibly here, there are so many topics about Dougie, ahah.)
