Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
A little like Laura Dern's character in Inland Empire, face distorted in a hallway.
A LOT like the Electrician's mouth from FWWM.
Calvin Lockhart...."Eeeeelectriiiicity"
I think the Electrician is very very very important in FWWM. And when will we finally see the Jumping Man? I thought for sure this would be the episode, with the David Bowie flashback, but there was no Jumping Man superimposed over Cooper.
Vintage Lynch
Very Cheshire Cat/BOB-ish. Or just one of her drunken fever dreams.
DO NOT MESS WITH SARAH PALMER!
And definitely don't call her the C word.
Sarah Palmer is a host for the Experiment/Mother/Babalon/glass box entity. The trans-dimensional act of removing the face revealing a void inside- then very similar attack and effect as the glass box entity made on Sam Colby and Tracey Barberato. Then I am drawn back to past behavior and incidents with Sarah Palmer that increase my suspicions. The sounds from deep inside the Palmer house when Hawk visits- I think they're the boy from the market having been tied up, readied for slaughter. The bizarre choices of TV programming- violent and repetitive. Sarah isn't only exhibiting vulnerable and erratic behavior. She also flips into very cold and venal and now deadly behaviors as well. I believe the creature unleashed at white sands, or at least an emanation of it, has been residing in Sarah- maybe for a long time. A mother needs a mother to possess perhaps? Clearly if Cooper arrives in Twin Peaks- I mean our Cooper, not Mr. C- he may be attacked by Sarah Palmer.
Not only are David Lynch's other films creeping into Twin Peaks all season long, but so are some of his paintings and drawings:

This was the scene I didn't know I needed in my life. Oh my yes. Now is she aware of it, has she embraced it? I think that's very possible.

Sarah knows that she has powers, her heavy drinking seems to indicate that she's not altogether happy about that fact.
Sarah warned him to stay away. She doesn't seem to be actively hunting (expect for Bloody Marys).

perhaps she is attempting to fight the possession, like MIKE

Good idea. Perhaps that's what the booze is for.

Precisely.
And her freak out in the store the previous week..... I think she was having a moment of clarity, seeing through her own eyes for a moment.

'Without alcohol, she bites.'
(Or rather, when you try to get between her and her bloody mary...)
