This thread sort of brings up something that's been in my mind for a couple weeks: the first 30 minutes of FWWM. They really gave us two parts in that film. My feeling is that since episode 8 wrapped, we've been in the similar space as Laura's seven days was to the movie. That is, the bulk of the story was that, and the first fifth of the film served as a very interesting exposition, at least that's how it read back in 1992.
...and rightfully so, as they take place a year earlier and in a different place. It cretainly seems like all the threads pull towards Twin Peaks- perhaps less joltingly than they did in FWWM.
Not really a secret, but let me pause and consider 21st century risk before following my impulse and just telling you...
Thus why I do not ask. 🙂 I not willing to put a lot about myself out there on the internet, I would certainly never ask anyone else to do so.
I'll write about it in my secret diary.

Just don't give the diary to Harold. That guys sucked at keeping it safe.
Oh and I wouldn't advise hiding any of it in the men's room at a police station. That might just be nasty.

Especially if Chad's around after lunch.
I imagine we'll spend some of the next couple episodes going to Las Vegas, and then everyone will get pulled to Twin Peaks for the finale.
But! I think the last two parts will feature LOTS of Red Room/Lodge sequences, like Parts 1 and 2. ... And maybe we'll go to Philly and Argentina too.
(Argentina... Tina!! Now I get it. Audrey followed John Justice Wheeler down to South America, and she's about to awake from that dream and run into Jeffries.)
It's totally possible that we may not get any concrete answers at all.
I would laugh my head off if we get exactly the same scene we got at the end of Season 2, but 25 years later. But this time, Bob will have entered Dougie Cooper!
Do you think the last 2 episodes will be a continuation or will it be like a 2 hour movie finally like FWWM?
I hope not. There was some interesting things in fwwm but overall it's a sub par movie, especially compared to seasons 1-3

I thought season 2 ended well.
It didn't put a bow on the entire story, but ended good enough where I was ok if they didn't make more.
