Even accounting for Episode 8, this is the best yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the only episode so far that hasn't had Coop or Mr C, except the flashbacks of Coop.  Far as I remember, all the others have featured either or both characters.

This did have new footage of Cooper.

In Gordon's dream, we see him standing. It's when Gordon says that "Cooper was there, but I couldn't see his face." Except we, the audience, do see a fair bit of his face. Enough at least to identify him.

So, for those 5 seconds or so, Kyle MacLachlan turned-in new material for the episode. LOL.

Fair enough but that's not what I meant.  That was a remembered dream, so technically a flashback.  Niether Coop nor Mr C were actually doing anything as themselves in the episode.
