Such a feel good moment, seeing Andy with that 'strength. Never underestimate the power of Andy.
I really liked it Andy was the chosen for this. And I enjoyed the images that he saw with that smoking artifact at the ceiling.
Was the running girl at school Maddy?
From all the images shown to Andy that was the only one that I didn't recognize.

It's a scene from the pilot, an open shot of the school at the moment they are informed Laura's corpse has been found.
Good to see Andy play such an important part in things. Reminded me of the Log Lady's line to Hawk about the good people around him. Andy gets to be the hero, while corrupt Chad gets busted.
Andy has always been one of my favorite characters, so it delights me greatly that he gets this kind of screen time. It's also a great twist, I don't believe I would have seen this coming in a thousand years. Both the Andy and Naido thing came totally out of the blue for me, in a way that I'm totally loving.

I was so delighted to see him in what I believe is part of the White Lodge. There he was, listening to the Giant, ??????, Fireman. What would Cooper think?

I believe he would stare at Andy for awhile, and then say "Of course."
Remember what Cooper told to Andy when preparing to leave?
Your bravery can only be exceed by the greatness of your heart. Rare combination indeed.
I've forgotten about that! It moved me ♡
It was a great moment. As Briggs stated only those pure of heart and filled with love can enter the white lodge. He definitely seems the most genuine, loyal and happy.
I think y'all are forgetting Andy in Part 7. When he went to talk to the "farmer" about his truck. Andy was stern, authoritative, and in command.
I knew we'd see more of that later on. 🙂
Very true. A genuine turnaround from the wet behind the ears guy he used to be. The real world needs more guys like him.
Indeed. He's come a long way from the days of oligospermia, recycling styrofoam, and the scotch tape debacle.
Crying lawman no more!
In a way it does have a Mr. Droolcup vibe, I can totally see him saying "how you doin down there" ?
And I did not see this coming but it has so much sense, he was always well-intentioned and above all pure at heart ♡ I am so thrilled for this twist
Andy is a holy fool. Having him go to the white lodge really was perfect. We needed to see his Stan Laurel hair in black and white for the full effect.
Haha! Was a time when the old Andy could have pulled off a great Stan Laurel: "I'm sorry, Ollie" blubber, blubber.
Milquetoast no more.
Boss is he now.
Andy is pure love and empathy. Yet, when he needed to protect Harry from Jacques Renault he was able to decommission Jacques. Andy even accepted Dick, without malice, and was willing to accept the baby Lucy was carrying without question. When Andy tells Chad he is “bad” he sounds simplistic – but the truth is simple. It takes strength and perfect courage to speak the truth and demonstrate love and acceptance. These characteristics make Andy the perfect candidate to directly enter the White Lodge.
It was not Maddy. This was from the original series -- the scene when the students of Twin Peaks High School were notified that Laura Palmer had died.
I think only those pure of heart can enter and leave the Lodge--at least in one piece i.e. whole. It's the Hotel California for those who aren't. Andy went in, did what had to be done, and departed. No more. No less. Simple, receptive, precise.
The others would have been too curious and have their own agendas, their questions.
Now I'm thinking that if anyone wakens our sleeping beauty Cooper, it might very well be Andy.
