At the end of the scene when Janey-E and Dougie are standing in the doorway watching Sonny Jim play, she tells Dougie she loves him. Did anyone else notice him silently mouth two syllables? I am extremely bad at lipreading, so I can't tell what he's saying, or if I'm reading too much into it.
Also, this is my first post, though I've been lurking for a while. Hello--ooo-ooo!

Welcome Lindsey! 🙂
I believe Dale whispered what Janey-E had just said. She said, I love you so much, and he replied, so much.
And yes, wlecome!
Thanks for the welcome! And for clearing up what was a very simple answer after all...like I said, I'm terrible with lip reading 😛
Is it weird that I'm getting sad about Dougie. He's got all these great things going for him now and he's got five episodes to lose it all. He doesn't seem to fully understand what's happening but he seems so content!
HellooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!
Welcome Lindsey!
Welcome!
And yes, what MJ said, "So much".

I felt sad in this same way, seeing Sonny Jim having so much fun with his new gym set, and us knowing the fun may not last much longer.

I'm still holding out hope for a happy ending there, although given Lynch's form with other stuff, it could go either way.
I think he's headed for a happy ending. Maybe they'll stay together.
Just imagine SJ going around and around and around in that gym, the same phrase of Swan Lake playing, the rainbow arc lit over him, forever.
I think that's his happy ending.

A life with the Swan Lake Scène but not the Swan Lake Waltz is not a happy ending.
