Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
This is intriguing. I just rewatched the scene and noticed the reflection in the left mirror definitely being out of sync. Could it somehow be Bob that we are seeing in the mirror? Come to think of it, doesn't Sarah's hairstyle (and colour) this season look a lot like Bob's?
Holy. Crap.
Also notice the orange light filling the outside seen through the window, the color of the new jerky which sent Sarah into 'warning mode' at the supermarket. This is what is keeping her in the house, her booze is Audrey's Roadhouse/Billy.
That's a great observation and symbolic link.
hmmmm- still don't see it.
I think it appears out of synch because of the skewed angle we are viewing it from. Our view is not horizontally or vertically aligned with Sarah and quite far to the left.
I submit exhibit A to the jury.
I can't recall seeing a reflection that has an image brighter than the original. I also think there is more hair covering the person's face in the reflection.
I'm not sure about that, could be the position of the lights for filming and the angle of the camera

--Well, sorry, but to my eyes, the image doesn't match your description. I think you're not taking into consideration lighting instruments out of view. The reflections are in sync with her movements, as Steve Moss said in the post above yours, and that's the big clue that this is all normal, and not another subtle weird Lynchian thing. That's the way I see it anyway.
I've watched and watched the scene and to me, the reflections are in sync. The middle mirror seems to be angled slightly away; note the reflections it's showing, from the table with the framed pictures.
Much as I'd like there to be something more than the looped tv show, I really can't see it.
Okay, my last post on the subject. Slow down the YouTube video to .25 speed and compare Sarah's movements with the reflection in the left mirror.

WOW - it's still in sync. lol - sorry, but all looks normal to me.
Hi. That's my first post.
After watching the scene a couple of times I am quite sure to see BOB in the far left mirror (which isn't a mirror on the set). Remember the end of S2 when Sarah came into the RR and a voice out of her mouth said: "I am in the black lodge with Dale Cooper"?
Second thing, real alcoholics aren't as agitated as Sarah was in that scene, up and down and up and down.
We get like that when we run out though...like Sarah did.
I just watched the video. There's definitely something odd about the reflection. I zoomed in on my phone and her movements don't coincide with the mirror, IMO.

Also, the reflection appears to have a slightly lower frame rate (visible when Sarah is getting up and walking), which is similar to the effect sometimes used in S1 when sinister things happened in the Palmer house.
The irony here is, of course, that we keep watching this scene over and over just like Sarah is watching the same footage repeated over and over on her TV...
