Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
These guys both seem nervous, right? They're both made up to be masterminds, and their underlings are scared crapless of them, but at this point, both Todd and Mister C* are scared.
Todd is afraid of Mister C cuz he hasn't yet rubbed out Dougie Cooper. Does Duncan Todd know of anyone else to be afraid of? Any signs that he's afraid of the Blue Rose team and/or Jeffries?
And what's Mister C nervous about? I mean, he was spooked by the phone call back in Episode 1/2 when someone on the other side said he wasn't Agent Jeffries (if I recall correctly). And then this week, he was spooked hearing about Jeffries from Ray. I guess he's also afraid of Dougie Cooper staying alive. But does anyone else have further insight into what Mister C is worried about??
*I'm gonna start spelling it "Mister C" because forumite James pointed out that Candie, Mandie, and Sandie could each be spelled with a "y" instead of "ie" but the "i" and "e" make their names more similar to "Diane." Since Mister C contains the first letters of Candie, Mandie, and Sandie, I'm going for full spelling--cuz i'm just that crazy.
I think Mister C (I like it!) is afraid of losing his physical reality benefits and maybe his soul/existence in the lodge. I suspect he's been promised a soul by BOB - as a mere shadow-self of Coop, he wouldn't normally exist as anything else. So he's afraid of non-exist-ense.
That makes sense. I didn't know if there had been clues of specific characters threatening him or if it's just the powers/rules that govern the Red Room/Black Lodge and its entities. Well--I guess the Arm Tree shouting "non-existence" would be a frightening for whether it's a real character or just a force.
I really want to know who scared him on the phone back right when he killed Darya. Tell us DL. Tell us!!
I predict a Hutch hit on Duncan Todd. He must know his days are numbered.
Mister C (I like it too) is uneasy because he knows there is a plot by someone (supposedly Jeffries) that threatens what he wants. He's been planning this for 25 years. He's used to getting what he wants, and he doesn't believe his plan will fail. The realization that there is an organized effort to deprive him of his evil success is not what Mister C wants.
Mr. C is suspicious and cautious, but he is such flat affect that it's hard to determine if he "feels" anything. Is he worried or afraid? Or is he just frustrated that he doesn't yet have what he wants.

I agree re: "feels," even physically. He didn't show any signs that Renzo was causing him physical pain.

Candie, Mandie and Sandie are also spelled more like Annie. Where's Annie?
Worried not frightened, and I do think his existence is on the line. Non existent seems to be the option for the one that don't survive this.
Non existence. Yep. that's what Evo of the Arm Doppel said as Coop was leaving the Red Room right?

Yup. In a Dalek voice, no less. Made me day, did that. Well, Non existent.
