I don't know about the remake but the original gave the whole game away in the opening credits and nobody got it. In fact, almost nobody got it when it was aired again, years later.
I have a feeling the exact same thing is happening here with the title:
Twin Peaks - The Return.
Nothing about what happens after that, who will save the day (if anyone), or anything else. Just the Return of Dale Cooper to Twin Peaks. Nowt else.
