I think you're all more or less too conspiracy theoristic.

I mean she gave birth to the kid. How can she not know Richard is her son?

I also think at some point Charlie did mention him being Audrey's lawfully wedded husband so we can probably scratch out the part of him being her psychiatrist.

Aren't Cooper's key something quite big that actually happened? Isn't Sarah freaking out and having the same background sound that Philip Gerard and some events connected to him/LMFAP had in FWWM a big deal? Really? Also, we have confirmation that the coordinates brings to Twin Peaks, or at least that's what Diane finds out (and wasn't it weird that she was pronouncing the word coordinates in syllables instead of repeating the numbers?). Her phone contact asks her about Vegas and she answers that they (presumably) Gordon and Albert haven't asked yet, which might imply that they already know something. We got to know something more about the Blue Rose and maybe we'll get something else once further details are revealed to Tammy. Audrey is a complete surprise, I get that it might've bummed out someone, but I didn't see it coming, especially not this way, for what little we got of her, she reminded me of Catherine Martell and of season 1-most of season 2 Ben Horne, the one she despised, which is probably a better fit for this story and all in all a smart idea. Honestly I feel like we actually got a lot of interesting things.

It seems to me that behind many people's disappointment there are unreasonable expectations. Expectations of getting immediate and complete answers about Chester Desmond, because the trailer teased them. Expectations of getting back the old Audrey, or at least the one people had imagined/wanted. But in TP and in Lynch's works we never get immediate and complete answers. Sometimes we don't get answers at all. When we do they rarely are straight forward and often come as tiny pieces of a puzzle we have to put together (and sometimes with holes to fill with our imagination). And there's no place for nostalgia in this season. It probably wouldn't make sense (TP has changed, both the show and the town), most of these old characters couldn't fit in this story without some major changes, but even if it did, it's been pretty clear for a while now that nostalgia is banned from Twin Peaks the return. So frankly, I don't wanna sound harsh, but if someone at this point feels like he can reasonably complain about not getting the Audrey they wanted, not getting the whole blue rose-FBI agents disappearing things explained within an episode, or having to elaborate new information that brings new questions instead of giving immediate answers (who are Chuck, Charlie, Billy, Tina, Paul?; what contract and rights is Audrey talking about?), well, honestly I feel that more than blaming Lynch, Frost, the show, Showtime etc you should really blame yourself for not cutting bait like 8 or 9 episodes ago.

The key is big? Seriously?

Sorry. We knew about it WEEKS ago. Giving it to hawk was nothing. Sarah going nuts was ok, but another loose end left.

The coordinates, I thought it was obvious that was to twin peaks.

Audrey has been known to be on the show since day one. Finally seeing her was more of a "finally..." Moment than "wow". The scene with her in indifferent on except the fact that lynch is adding ANOTHER storyline.

Honestly, I havent cut bait yet because I have faith lynch will wrap it up, but the journey to get there has been somewhat painful.

So glad my favortie character is back, even though with that strange wtf scene.. well at least she is looking for Billy too

A lot of names that we dont know who they are, things that happened that we have no idea about, at some point us the viewers i feel we are like Audrey in the end who waits to learn something but nothing..

Anyway Sherilyn is wonderful, im hyped she is back and she always looks stunning!

I love Audrey!!

Ben Horne said that Richard never had a father. If Mr C had raped Audrey while she was comotose, she would have thought Wheeler was the father. I am not sure Wheeler would have returned to Twin Peaks to take on responsibility. He was married to his business career.

So...Richard never had a father because Wheeler was far away. Or he  is Johnny's, and that is why the Hornes took care of him. Johnny clearly could not act as a father. Why is so tied up now?

Maybe Audrey doesn't remember any of it .. her life before the explosion.. and did she have sex with wheeler?? I don't remember that ..

Maybe someone else got this, but she DID have sex with JJ Wheeler- in his plane, just before he left...

Chuck is Richard.  "Chuck" is not o lay a nickname for Charlie.   I have known a Robert nicknamed Chuck, and several other people.   If your mama want to call you Chuck she's going to call you Chuck.

Seeing as he was the last person to see Billy (the owner of the giant truck that killed the kid, who if you remember NEVER MADE IT down the road to meet Andy) I'm about 110% sure Chuck is Richard.

Not to mention if he was raised with Charlie as a step father, Chuck would be a natural fit.

Billy is dead I'm guessing.

The information Tina told Charlie on the phone is the same stuff Truman told Ben.  Richard killed the kid, he tried to kill Miriam (name?) who is now in the hospital, etc.

Wondering when Red will tie back into all of this ......

This is avant-garde story telling. I don't have any sympathy for people who're watching this hoping for entertainment and satisfaction.

I feel you might be right but we don't know if the owner of the truck is called Billy, he was credited simply as farmer.

this may be a STRETCH but

when Charlie was talking to her about going to the Road House he alluded to the fact that they are far out in the woods.. could it be maybe that she's across the border in Canada hiding from her family, and married him to stay there?

I thought The Roadhouse wasn't named Roadhouse anymore.  Why isn't anybody saying It?

I guess after all the big teories one can have you have To stick with hints and facts.  The big fact for me is that Audrey needs protection, She can't even go out alone and is treated like a child to be calmed down.  Protection from what? Sure if BOB really raped her It wasn't a one-time thing And He may have went for possessing her like He went for Laura.  The midgets have connections with evil forces in Lynch's world anyway... and She apparently needs this Kind of protection. And The roadhouse thing may tell us that she isn't really leaving outside that house

Yea shame on viewers for getting tired of the arthouse bit and want some serious strides made in a story  2/3 of the way through the season.

Audrey's role will be bigger than this, that was an intro of Audrey after 25 years. Also i believe Audrey will share a scene with Cooper, no doubt.

True. And apart from that: it's not just about what WE KNOW, it's also about what various characters feel or experience when they gain knowledge about things. This is not just a plot driven thriller, but also a "soap noir" about constantly developing characters and their connections. Not just a great story, but also memorable characters, some old, some new.

Filler episode??  I suppose I'm a bit puzzled at some people's expectations & disappointment in characters...

I'll try to answer your question.

What exactly happened that episode? Like what would you NOT want to share with someone who didn't see it yet and was afraid of spoilers?

I got

1. Sarah is nuts, maybe possessed.

2. Audrey is looking for her son. Is married to some weird midget guy.

3. Diane is talking to Mr C still, gordon knows about it (which we already knew)

That's it. This season has had a ton of drawn out filler.

Audrey is looking for Billy. Who she is having sex with. Richard is her son.
