I rewatched ep. 12 this eve and noticed that at the beginning of the scene at Dougie's house (featuring history's worst 1st baseman), 'bird' shadows cross the roof as the scene opens. So I got to wondering: are there owls keeping watch on things and reporting to Mr. C.? It would give that scene (which I thought was a comic relief/throwaway thing) some real meaning.

There was an owl outside of Dougie's house who startled his limo driver when Dougie was dropped off after his win at the casino.  I think it was in Episode 4.
