Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Re: Kyle MacLachlan & Dougie Coop. He has also appeared as Agent Cooper, original Dougie & Bad Coop in season 3. To say that Agent Cooper has not appeared in Season 3 is not correct. We have seen him in the Red Room & the Mauve Zone.
Even if Cooper comes back before the finale, his disposition won't be the same as it once was. I hope I'm wrong, but the Cooper we knew back then is probably gone for good, just as Audrey is longer the same girl we knew.
I'm still amazed that this was the direction that Lynch and Frost wanted to go.
DL and MF may have gotten the Dougie storyline from an unproduced screenplay the two worked on, called One Saliva Bubble.

The premise in the screenplay is body swapping. That's not the case in TP since this is really Cooper, albeit catatonic-like (the real Dougie ended up as smoke in the Red Room), but there are parallels between the screenplay and TP3.

Yes, but I was hoping to see Cooper interact in the "Real" world lol 🙂

Oh please. We've seen him as cooper for what, one total hour out of 12? I get they are doing something different, but to pimp cooper as much as they did in the testers/trailers than not deliver (yes, there's 6 episodes left, we can hope for miracles) is a bait and switch.
