Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I just realized we are almost there. And I feel sad now ?
Just do what im gonna do..... binge watch the entire 18 hours the day after the last episode airs!
So many directions they can go with those. Now I'm excited again.
Gotta admit, after the arduous phone call scene with Audrey and her husband "Charlie", I'm not excited about Charlie telling us another story. Although I can't wait to be Lynched and have that turn out to be an amazing episode.
Gordon finally meets "Dougie"
Gordon: "What is your name?"
Dougie: "Dougie Jones"
Hope I'm wrong and he wakes up before then....but looking forward to it unfolding
I amkinda hoping it is Janey-e who asks that question.
Will "What is your name?" be the "How's Annie?" of The Return? The final line and another cliffhanger?

That's exactly what I thought, but I think that's too obvious.
Also think there's no way we see a season 4.

Don't forget, we've seen what appears to be Good Cooper driving, at night. So unless they cram-in his reawakening into the final episode, we'll likely see him back to more of his old self sooner rather than later.
In fact, I have a feeling it might happen suddenly, but we'll see.
Yeah, in another post I imagined him driving towards Twin Peaks at the end of the last episode. A typical Lynch edging.

I wouldn't mind being left with another cliff-hanger. Although, it would be nice to get the FIRST one out of the way. How IS Annie (dead, I presume, at the hands of Mr. C.).
I am so excited to see how this all unfolds!! I am hoping that we see Coop awaken and remember who he is before the 18th hour... Watching at the edge of my seat!!
"what is your name"
"Laura Palmer"
Somewhere, few hours ? days ? years ? after this :
Anyone seen the hypothesis that the change from 3 to 15 on the Electrical doofer in the purple room indicates the Episode that Dougie wakes up? It was supposed to have been 3, it will be 15?
That is quite an interesting hypothesis Chris.
I hope it's correct, as I'm fearing that we're not going to be seeing the real personality of Special Agent Dale Cooper any time soon. I'm surprised that Lynch is being this cruel to viewers actually. Having Kyle in one 20 second scene, having a baseball thrown at him, with only 6 episodes left, is really kind of cruel. We've all been waiting patiently to see Twin Peaks' greatest character finally emerge and be himself again, and now with the Episode 18 title released, it looks like it won't happen until then.
Now, if there was a confirmed Season 4 in the works, this long drawn out plotline of Cooper's return from the Lodge would work well. But all of us probably assume that this is the last Twin Peaks we are going to get, so for me at least, it's been hard watching Dale stay catatonic.
The hypothesis regarding episodes makes no sense to me, as to be even remotely believable the entities in the Muave Zone (or whatever) would have to be aware somewhat that they were in a television show that was being divided up into episodes; and at that point the entire thing becomes a pointless farce.
3-1-5 seems more likely to be a reference to his hotel room, or something else we don't quite understand (they are the first three "prime" numbers, I suppose).
Which of course means having now typed that, the exact opposite will happen and it will be Lynch saying "haha, I told you it was episode 15. Look at the outlet!!!"
