I kept looking in the background of the Roadhouse scene to see if we could see one of the earlier conversations (itchy armpit lady) happening at the same time.  Using The Chromatics again seems to suggest the conversation is taking place at the same time as the first episode?  More time trickery?  Or do The Chromatics just swing by Twin Peaks on a fairly regular basis?

That is definitely one thing we should keep an eye on.

But don't we always see the same booth in the Roadhouse? (or am I just making that up?)

I was wondering if these little side-stories are all taking place in the same booth as well...

A lot of people have been making the assumption that we are going to see connections made between the variety of conversations had at the Roadhouse. While that is still completely possible, I'm beginning to think that the Roadhouse conversations are primarily there to paint the viewers a broader picture of the goings on in Twin Peaks. And that broader picture seems to be primarily focused on infidelity and drug use.

That guy freaked out about the car at the end of Part 12 seemed to be high on some form of speed.

I am sure it is the same booth each time.  Not sure what to make of what is going on in the roadhouse, really surprised the One Eyed Jack type subplot didn't happen yet.

I agree it is to pain an idea of what is happening in TP and to show the various stages that things are pushing the psyche of the residents.
