Kyle was only in one short scene in Part 12, where he got a ball thrown at him. It was kind of funny to see it still say it starred him.
Yes, I know. 🙂
It just seemed funny in that moment that I saw it, since I'd hardly seen him.
Just to be pedantic, though, it's not quite 18 hours. So far, the average episode length is 54 minutes 30 seconds, so we're on track for the total to be 16 hours 21 minutes.
I guess this means they did cut some things after all...
I've always assumed they build in a margin of error for broadcast purposes, so an hour long slot is allocated to the show but sometimes other things overrun, or there's an extended ad break, announcement or something. The show itself may not total 18 hours, though.

There are no ads on Showtime.
But, yeah, it doesn't have to be one-hour exactly. We get the gist.
The series stars Kyle M.
18 hour movie, remember?
Not all actors of the whole series/movie are in the credits of all parts, though...

Watching on CraveTV I do get the occasional ad. Some guy selling a golden shovel.
On his scene in this episode I've seen a few places say an owl flies over the house, can anyone who's watched back confirm/deny this? If it was then an owl in the daytime is a pretty bad omen.
I only saw the shadow of a bird on his roof. Very briefly.
