I for one, am enjoying how the small quaint town of Twin Peaks is falling apart. It's inhabitants sucked into the madness except the few "clean" souls. I don't get the urge to see original characters, I don't get the impatience with stares and long scenes. And I'm not a pretentious Lynchian....I just really love how this show is unlike anything else. Lynch may not even tie these loose ends....it could end with us knowing the town and larger area is fucked due to the lodge and what it leaked. I expect Coop to wake up in the last episode driving towards Twin Peaks and the coordinates. And I'd be ok with that. Enjoy the ride.
I completely and utterly agree. Things like this are mostly meant to be treated as a journey. You can't treat this show as a normal show. It's proven that time and again. You can theorise, sure. But there's no way of knowing for sure unless you go along with the ride.
Yep. Reminds me of two quotes:
"The journey is more important than the destination."
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."

100% .... for me personally, DL & MF don't owe me a conclusion to the plots. I'm happy interpreting what's going on for myself...vicariously from the comfort of my couch next to my wife, who pretends she loves it for me....but I know deep down she'd rather chew on her elbow.
