Would you say Diane's hair is plain flat white like Leland's in Season 2?? If so, could this be a sign that she is inhabited by Bob (or another BL dweller) and that she has done some bad business, racking up more bodies like Leland did before his hair went white?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Leland was often conflicted. He was sometimes ~displeased~ with Bob, or at least trying hard to hide Bob and keep him shoved down and quiet until the moment was right, like the night right before cousin Maddie was to leave.

Diane has seemed conflicted about stuff. I don't have any grand theories. Just some thoughts here.

Something is clearly up with Diane, you're right!  Even Philip Gerard without chemicals was conflicted about Mike.  Spirit possession in Twin Peaks is always conflicting.  Don't you wish you could be a fly on the wall in the room that Lynch and Frost were discussing where the new season would go and how each character's story would go?

Cooper's doppelganger has caused a LOT of important problems for a LOT of important people, such as Diane and Audrey.

I'll get in on that thread. I've been listening to Entertainment Weekly's podcast about the show, and they've been big on colors--especially the yellow in Vegas/Janey-E's world vs the red, the evil red.

Well, one thing I'm positive Lynch and Frost said when they first sat down was, "What do the viewers want to see most?? Cooper. Ok then, we're hiding Cooper till the very end!"

It looks very much like a wig to me.

Same here.

Now *that* might turn out to be something. Then again, perhaps not.
