With 7 episodes to go. How many story lines do we think will get resolved? When I say resolved I don't mean necessarily in a neat manner just stories that will definitely be returned to. Some of them could take 1 or two episodes up in themselves. Personally I still think I'm suffering a come down from episode 8, I'd almost happily just watch the remaining 7 episodes situated in that world. Am I missing any story strands...

Just a few come to mind...

Returning to 1956 and finding out who the girl the insect climbed into grows up to be...

The finger prints alerting Gordon/Albert to Dougies existence.

Bobby/Hawk/Truman visiting Jack Rabbits...

Tom Sizemore/Anthony Sinclair now having to make an attempt on Dougies life...

Red/Richard Horne/the girl in bang bang bar with itchy arm pits/Becky. Somehow I'd connect all of those.

What's happening with Audrey.

What is the experiment.

What is Mr C actually after.

How does Bob play into all of this.

I would guess at around 50% being answered, perhaps a little more. Lynch loves leaving mystery and unanswered questions.

Most of these might be minor storylines but I still wonder where they are going.

Jerry Horne lost in the woods

Dr Amp and Nadine (is that story going somewhere?)

Beverly and her husband

Sheriff Truman and his wife, is their son's suicide somehow relevant to the story?

That salesman who talked to Lucy in the beginning.

What about Linda and her wheelchair?

I love that you mentioned that insurance salesman. I've been rewatching Twin Peaks the Return from the beginning recently and that scene felt particularly menacing second time around. Unless it was used to let the viewers know there are two Trumans.

I feel like Jerry is going to get caught up in the Truman/Bobby/Hawk going out to Jack Rabbits storyline.

It would be hilarious and wonderful if Jerry turns out to be the hero of this entire affair.

I theorise a great deal will be explained to some degree. Keep in mind there are still seven hours of footage left. Some of the strands I don't think are going anywhere, but I don't know. This is Lynch we're talking about.

I keep wondering if Nadine and Dr. Jacoby will tie in somewhere eventually?

Maybe Jacoby runs into Jerry in the woods & takes him back to the trailer to sober him up.
