Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Hey Rob! That wasn't directed at you! The only reason that any of us are on this site......David Lynch. I won't engage in bitterness?
Love you! You're not my grandmother
I love all of those movies. Jacob's Ladder is a personal fave. I feel like all of Lynch's movies and the series were his personal diary.
I can go deeper into this. I will assume that everyone has seen Eraserhead. (If not..... go watch)
That was a film about a beaten down man killing his son to prevent him from becoming the monster that he projected.
Now....Leland killed his daughter. Wait! She died and ascended.
i know that this is extreme. A nope can't wipe it away.
Well, that's all I got. I didn't see anywhere in my reply that I stated or implied you were a kid. I disagree with your idea and, if you care to look in other threads discussing the subject of the whole Twin Peaks continuity, you'll see why it's been considered - or similar ideas considered - and dismissed.
Disagreeing doesn't make anyone obliged to give a full and complete explanation why.
Hi Sam! Thanks for your reply. I dig your interpretation of Twin Peaks. I love reading your posts, and I appreciate the time it took to consider mine. Actually, your insight is what drove me to sign up. I never inferred that you thought I was a "kiddo". No arguments! I wanted to share that I have spent 25 years pondering all of this, too.
Hey, that's fine. I misunderstood, please accept my apology.
Insight? I'm as lost as everyone else, but thanks for the kind words.
