- The warden gets "hutched"
- Hawk mentions to Truman that, you know, he's already seen the lodge opening out in the woods but didn't think it prudent to tell anyone all this time.
- Bobby tells folks that, in his experience, German people are typically punctual.
- Chantal & "Hutch" pay a visit to Warden Dwight Murphy
- The Mitchum brothers meet who they think is "Douglas Jones"
- Candie continues to cause chaos
- The Fuscos interrogate Ike
- Sheriff Truman receives a letter from Miriam Sullivan
- Tammy, Gordon, Albert & Diane head out to "the site."
- Before heading out to Jack Rabbit's Palace, Frank, Bobby and Hawk get a warning from the Log Lady (“There's fire where you are going.”)
Difficult to say with this show, as things do typically get followed-up on, but not necessarily when we think.
Having said that:
- Andy further investigates the hit & run
- "There's fire where you are going" is given as a warning to Hawk, Truman and Bobby, or to Cole, Tammy and Albert. Not sure yet who says it, but if it's the former, then probably the Log Lady. If the latter..... eh, I dunno... the Giant?
- The Mitchums' attempt to take-out Dougie will fail (admittedly, this thread could be held 'til episode 12 or later)
- Diane is watched closely
- Heck knows what Bad Coop will be up to
Those will all likely prove to be wrong. 🙂
The Mitchum brothers go after Dougie Jones. But then it turns out that Mr C's intended "Double header in Vegas" are the Mitchum brothers (Mr C didn't know about Mr Todds clever scheme involving them in the hit), causing confusion and our Coop survives another attempt at his life! 😉 Or the "double header" is Janey-E and Sonny Jim and Vegas storyline ends in tradegy 🙁
I scream at the screen, "DALE!!! COME BACK!!!!"
He stares back at me, blankly.
Janey-e doesn't notice at all.
Sonny Jim waits in the car.
I would love to have an episode about:
- telephone poles at the Fat Trailer Park
- Sarah Palmer watching television
- Naido landing in Twin Peaks and trying to awaken Cooper
- a long conversation between Denise and Diane
- The jumping man above the convenience store jumping
- more murders with music from the Platters
Moth Frogs! We need Moth Frogs!
I thought they were more like Cockroach Frogs but still...
- and someone singing Witchita Lineman! 🙂
ETA this was supposed to follow from Teo Peaks' post to make any sense...
Damn good song, anyhow. Could have Harry Dean Stanton doing his own version but I'd be just as happy to hear the original on someone's car radio as they drove by.
I thought the use of My Prayer by the Platters was wonderful
Maybe we see if a silent drape-runner shop is a good business to have.

Sure am interested what these manifest into. I don't think they are the same level of evil as Bob given he had his own bubble in the 'vomit'
I still smile at the way the one we saw used the girl's chin to leg up into her mouth...
That episode has stayed with me. There's more weirdness coming, I can feel it.

These are good ones.
Well, predictions it not so much my cup of coffee, but what about expectations? I'm hoping for a scene that will scare the shit out of me! A scene that will make me deeply traumatized for weeks. Like Ronette Polaski's flashback/dream in the original run.

That scene had a profound effect on me back in 1990. Terrible disturbance for weeks. I said I wouldn't watch this series after dark, alone my wife was away after part 2 until part 10 last week. Nothing so far has had the same impact in that sense. Maybe we've been conditioned with everything that's been and gone since. That said when the experiment appeared out of the glass box, I was thinking, okay, here we go...
