If he's still in the woods by 10/1, I don't like his chances of surviving:
A.) Getting pulled into the Black Lodge....
B.) Being swarmed by Woodsman...
C.) Being turned INTO a woodsman...
D.) Stumbling into the middle of the altercation between the descending being, Hawk, and Frank....although he could end up providing a diversion at a critical moment..or....
E.) Getting sucked into the "vortex" above the peaks which allows the descending being to enter our world.....
Dude, GTFO!
C.) He almost in the uniform, they'll just put a bit of hue/saturation on him and he ready to look for a light.

He's already pretty well lit........
I totally believe there will be an upcoming scene where Bobby,Hawk and the gang are about to bite the bullet up in the "Lodge" area and Jerry will suddenly come wandering in and save their asses!

I think you're right!
Have an impression he's taken a heroic dose. I've got a good feeling about Jerry.
I think he should take a break from those actions and go hang out with Sarah for a bit. Dude could use a vodka tonic and a change of scenery.

She could use one of his "magic cigarettes"....

Exactly! A mutually beneficial encounter.
Lol and I didn't realize it at the time, but auto-correct changed "those shrooms" to "those actions."

We should see what auto-correct does to haiku.......!
That's what I thought when I saw him in the clothes after Part 8. It was only then that I made the possible connection.
Either way, I'm 99% certain Jerry's going to be important.
When they first showed Richard Horne, I wanted him to be Jerry's kid to give his character something to do, so I'm hoping him being messed up in the woods leads to something. Otherwise, he's pretty much useless as a character. Other than attacking his own foot and wearing his mother's hat, I mean.
I sincerely hope that he plays a bigger part. He's often so very cheery or high, I don't think he's got much garmonbozia to offer!
