I'm confused. Couldn't one infer this by cross-referencing the original cast list with the remaining episodes? (i.e., I know that Eddie Vedder will appear in one of the upcoming episodes.) After an admittedly cursory look, I don't see anywhere on the page you provided where it identifies which number/date episode features a given actor.. Or should I look more closely?? i

I had already found some specific information but only for one much-awaited actor. I decided not to post it in case it was an unintentional spoiler (or else a red herring).
For the other actors, as far as I can make out the number of episodes listed corresponds only to the episodes in which we've seen them so far, with the exception of Kyle KcLachlan and Sheryl Lee, who are credited for all 18 episodes (pretty obvious, really).
EDIT: Actually, more than one much-missed actor. But no Sherilyn Fenn. Yet.

Indeed. And they are listed for the same future episodes, which is a bit odd. Or may be not. Who knows?
Don't trust IMDB for cast listings for future episodes. They are almost always wrong.
Already, several times since The Return started, IMDB will have a generic cast list for upcoming episodes, some cast members included, others not. Then, once the episode airs, they go in and remove the actors who weren't in the episode, and add the ones who did appear.
It is the very definition of grain of salt.
It's clearly incomplete and meant to cover spoilers. Several important characters are shown on IMDB to be completely done and we KNOW they'll have to show up again...unless it's all Gordon, all the time, for the next 7 episodes.
I saw 2 actor that I was very surprised to see listed in most of the final epi's.
So that made me wonder if these to are able to list that they are in why are other actors not shown in.
IMDB is actually super inacurate up until a day or two after the airing dates. It initially listed Sherilyn and Dana Ashbrook as being in only one episode each, and we know Dana has been in most of them now.
In the list, says that Sheryl Lee appears in all 18 episodes and it hasn't appeared in the eleven that we have seen... it is clearly wrong... I wouldn't take it as a reliable source. And even so, I am still confident that Sherilyn will appear... so hell no 😀
