Original thread for this is in Part 6/Page 1 "Possible spoiler.....part 6 or later"
Ok. Didn't know that. I can't possibly keep track of every single thread in every episode forum. But thank you.
It appears that the scene has been edited for the trailer. Messing with this screen grab brightness and colors its obvious that the back seat or rear of the vehicle had been hidden.
There hiding that it is Dougie driving and he has Mr. C hog tied in the back seat. Occasionally in his lost Dougie tone and expression he looks at Mr. C and tells him to shut up and calls him his bitch. Imagine Dougie mumbling, "You Dougie's Bitch, Dougie's Bitch"
Gotta be honest, I pick up a Mr. C vibe from that clip. Hope I'm wrong.
All joking aside, I expect if or when we get Coop back, team Coop will be forced to sacrifice to make it happen. I just feel they have us looking for little triggers to make it happen when in the end it will take something significant (death of a good guy/girl).

I think it's meant to be ambiguous. If you look very closely to this and compare to screen caps of Mr. C you'll notice the eyes are slightly different. Mr. C's eyes are so dark it's like there's a tiny black vortex in place of his irises.
This Cooper seems to have regular eyes. He does look awfully dreamy, though, and the very dark setting makes it ambiguous, probably to keep us wondering... gah!!!

Not sure that wpuld make sens with the whole "restoring balance to the world" theme, if the imbalance is already from too many good people dying/being corrupted.
This brings me to a big question and maybe I should post this on the q&a thread but here you go...
What does the FBI believe cooper did after the events of the original twin peaks? So far we have no details at all.
After he left the hospital, we don't know anything. What do Cole and Albert think he did with his life in the past 25 years? Did he do any FBI work? Did he retire? Did he disappear "on assignment?"
I feel that this is a huge major plothole that needs resolving. Here's why.
If Coop does get his faculties back, Cole in all good conscience isn't going to just say "hi welcome back, what you wanna do?". For national security reasons he will need to be debriefed and then determined whether he's an enemy of the state. Unless of course, the image we see of Coop driving is him going incognito, outside FBI jurisdiction.
I just find it weird that as viewers, we still haven't heard Cole and Rosenfield discuss Coops supposed activities following the events of the original series. It's a huge black hole!
I think I read that Frost will do another book that goes over the events of 1992 to 2016

No offense meant, this tree has many roots-things went nuts after Part 8

ROFL! : )
To me it sorta looks like Dougie driving with possibly Janey-E in the passenger seat.

If that is the case, you know Janey is about to lay some smackdown somewhere.

She'd be verbally giving Mr. C the business while he's hog tied crying like a little baby.

I'm very much looking forward to reading that!
I agree that it's very ambiguous: they eyes don't look as dark as Mr. C's, but the kind of frown he has on his face definitely makes him more doppelganger-ish.
Speaking of that trailer: which scenes we haven't seen yet? Obviously Coop driving, Andy with the pic nic basket, then I would say the scene with the staircase (which by the way looks exactly like the one where Gordon saw the Woodsmen standing) and the one with the guy walking in the darkness with his back turned. Speaking of the latter, as much as I'm trying to convince myself that he looks like Chris Isaak/Chester Desmond, it's obviously either Coop (more likely) or Gordon. Who do you think it is? Also, can anyone get something out of that short sequence? It seems like there's a wall on his right and it reminds me a little of the place where we last left ??????? and Senorita Dido in part 8, but that's all I have got.
