The girl with the itchy armpit in the previous episode.
I was wondering if there were any clues in this episode that we could link to it.
For example - the sick girl in the car. Does she have a more advanced version?
Did anyone else exhibit some itchy, scratching episodes?
I didn't see any but maybe someone else did.

I'm sure others have mentioned this, but are we heading for a Twin Peaks zombie crossover?! Wow.
I wondered if there's a connection with the druggie mom in Rancho Rosa. Maybe Red has some dealings there, too. That would be one way the FBI could get involved in both places, if there's an investigation into the drug trafficking routes.
A lot of assumptions but there are webs reaching out all over, with Dougie somewhere along the strands.
Also, what was Mr C up to this episode? Nothing from him since he took off from the farm.
Maybe there's one lot of spirits/ possessors/ whatever inhabiting people's bodies - and producing rashes & unpleasant vomit. And the other (good?) lot sliding around walls & doorways making glitchy keyholes & strange noises?
I've absolutely no idea where it goes after that, but my long-time inability to walk through a doorway without crashing into the frame is starting to worry me!
Oh, thanks for reminding me of the rash. Creepiest part ofTWTR so far- and that is saying something. Now I'M itching (-;

Without chemicals they point???
Well, this is an interesting thread, but a completely rubbish title for a movie.
Just thought I'd share that. You know, as you have to.

Hi Sammy Weir. Can you say a little more about that old clue from the Giant? Did Cooper ever figure out what it meant? Apologies if it is already discussed somewhere. The Giant said that long ago, and I don't remember where it went. How does it relate to this discussion?
The clue was about Philip Gerard and Mike. Mike appears when Gerard doesn't take his medicine hence "Without chemicals he points"

Yep - I remembered that when we saw Ruth's body with a pointing arm.
Just as a bit of an aside... having studied dead animals on roads in the tropics (don't ask, there was a lack of other stuff to do) limbs don't raise like that.

Is it not the case that if the body entered rigor in that position, it would retain that position until rigor ended?
THAT may come back up again, given how long ago her head was found (another time ofdeath mystery!)
I'd like to think that the rashes might be similar to the shaking hands in Season 2. At first I thought the scene was just David Lynch illustrating the drug problem brought by Red, but now that I think about it, it could be very, very important.

I actually laughed when that scene came up...."you mean she died while taking a selfie"?!

Just wait until part 3.
