And then there's the matter of the other lively conversation in Episode 11: the conversation asst the RR Diner between the Briggs family: Shelly, Bobby, and Becky. Between the eruptions- "I hate him/I love him/I'm sorry, Mom"- interruptions- Red's bizarre appearance where we learn that Bobby and Shelly aren't together anymore/awkward silence between Bobby and Becky- and disruptions- shots fired, bizarre reactions, freakouts, two weird kids: a sullen camo-clad shooter boy and a vomiting zombie girl-

I'd say that THAT may have been one of the liveliest dinner conversations I've ever seen on television!

Could the message Diane received in the last episode be from Dougie/ Good Coop.
Is “ the lively dinner-table-conversation" referring to the scene with Dougie and the Mitchum brothers in episode 11?

Bradley Mitchum frisks Dougie in the desert and says he doesn't even have a wallet, only the envelope with the check.  So little likelihood that Dougie is carrying a cellphone.

I thought "around the table the conversation is lively" was referring to the Convenient Store. Like when Mike, Bob and other Black Lodge inhabitants were sitting at the table enjoying their garmonbozia in FWWM. So maybe he's refering to the fact, that there's a lot of evil crap going on in the world at the moment. Or something else about the Black Lodge.

That was my first thought.

I think that "around the table the conversation is lively" (think of a round table) might mean the same as "now the circle is almost complete". Different perspectives of the same event about to happen.

I don't think the Mitchum table is a dinner table.  A dinner table is found in a house.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't specifically referring to that table or any other table, btw. More like an abstract table.

"Convenience" store - not "convenient" - FYI.

If you look at the circle of sycamores as a "table" full of garmonbozia.....badcoop could have been telling diane to head to glastonbury grove....
