Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
- from the tornado/opening. It was very casual, like he knew exactly what was happening & had done it before.
YES! Because they know....they must know better....they know more than we think ... look at the scene when they talk about " coffee or warm milk" .... thye've got codes they talk to each other in...
Looked like he saw ( maybe others did not see that ) Gordon fade out for a second which made him realize he need to pull him back to safety.

But there didn't seem to be much urgency - it was more like 'Here we go again, he's nearly got himself disappeared...'
Who knows, they may have dealt with 25 years of Blue Rose cases.
I agree that this whole scene has a "been there done that" feel to it. They were both wondering if this was *another* portal, so that means they have experience with them already.
Maybe they should call in Mulder and Scully to investigate?
I love their code talk. I wonder whether they showed the picture of the code/coordinates on Ruth's arm in full view of Diane intentionally as a result of the "warm milk" comments. Surely it wasn't a mistake.
I don't think they were using code. Gordon's hands were shaking "like a cat on a hot tin roof." Albert just suggested that Gordon have warm milk instead of coffee, to calm his nerves.
Based on the knowing statement they gave each other right after, I think it's happened before. I have a bit of a hard time reconciling that Albert believes/knows of a supernatural world. There seem to be plenty of other times that he has dismissed such things.
I also do think that Albert was trying to be subtle and suggestible with Gordon (whether that amounts to a code, dunno), but it didn't seem to work.

"Maybe that's all Bob is. The evil that men do. Maybe it doesn't matter what we call it."
