Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Hawk. Electricity is humming. You hear it in the mountains and rivers. You see it dance among the seas and stars and glowing around the moon, but in these days the glow is dying. What will be in the darkness that remains? The Truman brothers are both true men. They are your brothers. An the others, the good ones who had been with you…Now the circle is almost complete. Watch and listen to the dream of time and space. It all comes out now, flowing like a river. That which is and is not. Hawk. Laura is the one.
Then the song: “No starts”.
I'm likening it to mean that chaos has put everything in serious jeopardy. The worlds are in danger of becoming nullified. Laura is needed to put things back the way they were.
No Stars. "ya no hay estrellas" (no stars are left...)
"The circle is almost complete." Is there a connection between the Dougies ring found in Major Briggs and the ring the Giant took from Cooper in S2E1? Will Cooper "wake up" when he gets Dougies wedding ring?
Sounds to me like a band of "brothers"...Hawk, Truman and the others...the circle is almost complete.
Wasn't there a circle in the petroglyph that some people thought represented people gathered. Could it mean the gathering of people?
i was thinking laura is the last star gone. she has to be found to close the lodges and only doggie can bring her. oh crap ive run away again hahaha
so many circular references, it could be a donut. we shall learn sooner or later what the true meaning is. Only 8 parts to understand it.

Book House Boys. Harry made Cooper a member.
The song at the end made me cry. I cried and cried. I don't know why. It reminded me of Mulholland Drive when the woman sang 'Crying' by Roy Orbison in Spanish. Something about it just really gets to me on a deep level.

Same singer.

Really?? Wow. That blows my mind. Her voice blows me away.
Thanks for typing that out.
What does the Log Lady mean "flowing like a river?" Electricity?
I noticed that DL was given credit for co-writing the song. Impressive.
I also found the song deeply touching- surely a song of loss and morning.
I was wondering about this scene, and all her other scenes. Is it meant to look as if they are taking place at different times, even though it's obvious the scenes were shot all in one sequence? Or are we infact jumping back and forth in time? That Hawk and Margret only talked over the phone once or maybe twice? That scene with Hawk in the woods during night time is still something of a mystery.
