Twin Peaks: Part 10

In a typical film, the names of two related but unseen characters might not rate a mention. But Twin Peaks isn't typical, nor is David Lynch. I can't help but wonder whether DL was giving a hat tip to a famous couple in rock and roll history: Richard and Linda Thompson. Songs like "The End of the Rainbow," and "I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight" seem to fit right in the story line.
Of course it's a stretch, but in DL's world anything seems possible. Your thoughts?
