Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Caoimhín & Fishinthepercolator : I think 1781_Eclipse meant Audrey's daughter Linda is different than trailer park Linda. Because he said "living elsewhere with Linda", instead of "living at Fat Trout."
Also Audrey or Audrey's offsprings at a trailer park? And a war veteran? Ehh....

I did! I do think trailer park Linda is not the Linda we are waiting for!
Oh sorry, that way it makes sense, it could've been just a red herring pretty much like Mike & Bobby were with Mike and Bob in the original show.
Do you think Audrey had twins and is living elsewhere with Linda? Two birds with one stone.
Mind bomb.
Maybe after the coma Audrey was too damaged and the family decided to put her in a proper facility, as taking care of both her and Johnny would be too much.
We don't know how long her coma lasted, but she could've had the baby just after getting out (in case she was already pregnant or got impregnated during the coma) and ultimately Richard had to be raised by his grandparents.

This sounds plausible. I just find it so maddening that the show is now passed the halfway marks and we don't have a clue of what happened to Audrey (as well as a few other old characters like Annie, for instance) 🙁
And the title of Episode 10 is so misleading. It's a hint about Laura's but we don't see her at all, and the only mentioned of her was when Gordon saw her in a flashback. I thought given the title she should've been more prominent in this episode 🙁
^Maddening is the word all right. I'm supposed to be working right now and all I can think of is what happened to Audrey.
I doubt Audrey is still in coma, but who knows.. my guess is that Audrey is somewhere else and she does not want to have any connections with her son Richard because she knows something more like who's the father or she realized he is pure evil. As for Linda maybe there is connection as well, both her children or not and Richard is the new BOB and Linda the new Laura?? i dont know..
I'm not a doctor but I guess that if she really is Richard's mom (and I'd say it's basically confirmed now) it's hard to believe she's been in a coma for 25 years and still is.
Just a note folks: Audrey was confirmed awake in Mark Frost's book The Secret history of Twin Peaks. she then had a falling out with her father and leaves TP

Thanks. Did the book mention where Audrey went?
I see no reason why Johnny couldn't be Richard's dad.
I dont remember off the top of my head. it discusses how her father hardly leaves her bedside whilst in the coma, but then they have a major falling out. at the time of reading it I assumed it was due to Ben being an ass. but, as much as I hate to say this, it could be due to her being pregnant (seemingly most like by Mr C) and not even knowing who from. I dont believe it implicitly says where she goes to
I think there is a reason behind so long absence of Audrey. It's very possible that she didn't recover well after accident and coma and she's institutionalised somewhere. Or she could been so traumatized by Coop's assualt and being impregnated that she left. Anyway I am almost sure that this fu... Richard has been raised by his grandparents.
Btw do you also think that Ben and Sylvia are divorced?
It may interest some of you to know, that if the whole rape during coma-producing Richard Horne thing has happened, that it is very similar to an early version of Sleeping Beauty, that I am the most familiar with.
In that version, a king comes by the sleeping castle (everyone in the castle was affected by the curse), long forgotten by time, went in to check it out, and finds the sleeping princess. Apparently she was so beautiful that he decided to rape her. After that, nine months went by and she gave birth to twins, while still sleeping under the curse. One of the twins managed to find a nipple to suckle, but the other tried to suckle on one of her fingers. That finger was the one in which a piece of cursed flax had been lodged into by the cursed spindle. So the baby sucked it out, waking the princess and lifting the curse, 100 years after the whole thing started.
