You might be correct. I found it really odd that Audrey's name, or any mention of "your mother," never came up during the attack.

It was Doc's guess as to why he saw Cooper there ( actually Mr. C. ). Though he could have been seeing to it that Annie told no tales.
I am not sure that the tense means she ever came out of the coma but just at that time she was in a coma as compared to time before when she was not will have to listen again
She doesn't seem to be in a coma; a person can't survive in a coma for several decades unless they're in a soap opera. For me, it seems fair to say that this is no longer soap opera territory that we're moving in.
I do agree that Richard must be Audrey's son. They have proven without a doubt that Johnny isn't capable of sexually mature behaviors. And Richard is absolutely the grandson of Sylvia and Ben. That eliminates Jerry. Audrey's the singular figure who could've given birth to Richard. Maybe this is why she gave out so many sad tweets and disappointed signals before and during filming. Maybe she hated what had happened to her most beloved character.
When the show started I really wanted to see Audrey. I still do, but now I'm dreading what will happen when she does show up.

Quite possible. We know that Linda lives in or near Fat Trout Trailer Park as her husband or boyfriend or caretaker or . . . hitched a ride to Deer Meadow with Carl. She could be living with them.
None of the Horne's have even mentioned Audrey. It seems like she's had a falling-out with the rest of the fam. Or, could still be in a coma like mentioned above.
