Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Immediately after we first see the glass box in New York, there's a scene at the Great Northern Hotel. Ben Horne speaks to his new assistant Beverley about a complaint from a guest, Mrs Houseman, (concerning a skunk) and Ben says to 'tell Mrs Houseman and her New York friends...'
Coincidence or might there be a connection between the box storyline and these Twin Peaks guests?
Perhaps also relevant to mention how the 'giant' (as he was often referred to back in the first two series of Twin Peaks; he's listed in the credits as '???????' played by Carel Struycken) when delivering a message to Cooper says 'It's in our HOUSE now'. Might there be a demonic male in this character - or her husband (if such a character later features?)
While this is a very tenuous connection, I felt it was worth mentioning because of how names were of great relevance during the earlier seasons of Twin Peaks. While investigating the identity of Bob, Leland was shown a pencil sketch of the killer and reported that he was someone named 'Robertson' who Leland remembered from childhood. Cooper later deduced that 'Bob' was Robert, the 'son' suggesting that this demonic possession was born during an episode in Leland's own childhood.
