Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Feel better Sam! ?
Ah, you northerners are hard as nails. Get better soon!!
Cheers, all!
The results aren't related to my chest complaint; this was something that showed up over and above. I have an enlarged prostate, so I'm deemed "at risk" of developing cancer. They found elevated levels of prostate related stuff, way up from last time, so further tests are in order to make sure there's nothing untoward.
Having been through these tests before, I know what to expect and it's not a barrel of laughs, although considerably better than the alternative. Not painful as such, mostly somewhat undignified and a little discomfort. The upside is, I'll get to watch the inside of my bladder on telly again. Mind you, it's pretty boring in there; like a Jacques Cousteau movie without the fish. Not that I'd want fish in my bladder, that is.
Then there's the always enjoyable tube down the throat and tube up the jacksie, the prostate biopsy...
At least I can go to sleep during the MRI.
Cheers, all!

Only "somwhat" undignified?
Well yes, at least it's not going to be happening in public. As for a few medical people taking a look at me willy, I've never felt inadequate in a shower room, if you get my drift.
